High-quality biochar credits are created from woody biomass. BX primarily works with your removed trees to do this. Other waste materials can be used, but the quality of the credits, and therefore returns, is lower. To ensure the continued high-quality of the credits, and to maximise the returns available to participating farmers, BX only uses materials with the right level of hydrogen to organic carbon ratio to meet the highest quality standards for credit creation.
